Many of our programs are free to you as the learner when they have the support of an educational grant. But CMEmeded.com/CEMedEd.com complies with all requirements of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) for CME programs and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for CE programs. Our programs have no bias from commercial interests. We will never sell your information for promotional use. We will only send you announcements of educational programs, and you can choose how to receive these notifications from us.

CMEmeded.com/CEMedEd.com is owned by AltusMedical, a company founded by professionals with many years of experience in medical communications, medical education, and media production.

Our team consists of professional media producers, web specialists and medical education experts. We understand CME and CE, and we know how to create and distribute engaging medical education programs that clearly and concisely convey the educational objectives of an activity.

AltusMedical is founded by Bob Timm and Elizabeth McDonald.

Bob Timm has been in the television and multimedia production business for more than 25 years. He spent many years as a cameraman and producer for local television stations before working for NBC News for 10 years. He has won numerous awards for his producing and shooting including an Emmy. Through his company, altusmedia, he has developed and produced medical education and communication programs for more than 15 years, including online streaming, live Webinars, CD/DVD programs, and filmed live events and conferences. His expertise in planning creative methods of imparting clinical information, problem solving, and delivering high-quality production values ensures high-quality educational programs in a range of media formats.

Elizabeth McDonald has 20 years of experience as a publishing professional, including more than 17 years in medical publishing and educational programs. She has managed a range of clinical medical journals, educational programs, clinical information, and medical communications in print, online, live forum, and CD/DVD formats. She works closely with faculty, program creators, and the AltusMedical production and programming team to develop and present clinical information in high-quality educational programs. Her journal editorial experience includes Applied Radiology, Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging & Therapeutics, Federal Practitioner, The American Journal of Medicine, and The American Journal of Surgery, among other publications. She has a Master?s of Arts in English from Georgetown University.
